About This Project
DriveMeForFree is a Canadian startup company which provides users with electric vehicles for free - the catch is that these vehicles come wrapped with several advertisements. This application was developed from the ground up using modern web technologies—HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js with the Express framework. This is a simple but professional one-page website meant primarily to gauge the public's interest, and as such it allows users to register to a waitlist for the service both as an advertiser or as a driver.
To ensure scalability and performance, I integrated AWS Lambda functions to handle the asynchronous form submissions. The entire architecture was designed with security, performance, and user experience in mind. DriveMeForFree's website is a good example of a project which can quickly be developed and maintained at a low cost without sacrificing quality.
