Each project will vary, but in general website creation takes longer than updating an existing site or improving SEO.
I offer a flat fee that covers the full scope of development. Part of this is a retainer fee taken upfront to ensure both parties are committed to the project. The remaining balance is due upon project completion.
However, to ensure a smooth and flexible experience for my clients, I also accept hourly pay or a subscription-based system should they prefer.
If we have already agreed upon a project and design but you realize you would like to add more features, any time I spend implementing them will come at an initially agreed-upon additional hourly cost.

Consultation
After getting in touch, we'll schedule a meeting where we will discuss the project, your business, and how I can help. Free of charge.
I will send you a quote the next day, and you can decide if you'd like to move forward with the project.
Content
We will gather any pictures, information, or other critical content needed in order to complete the site.
This phase can take place later along the process if you need time to gather content. I can also gather pictures and create content for you instead.
Development
The longest phase of the process. Now that I understand your vision, I'll get to work on bringing your ideal site to life.
I will be available at any time if you'd like to check-in or be more involved in the process. You can request design shifts at any time.
Testing & Launch
A temporary staging site will be made available for you to browse and request touch-ups.
Once I have finished ensuring the site is fully functional and that you are satisfied with its appearance, it will be ready for release at your convenience.

Post-Release Options
Once your website is launched, there are still several responsibilities attached to it.
Hosting a site and owning a domain are minimum requirements, which both require monthly payments.
Additionally, monitoring your site's performance and ensuring it continues to run smoothly are important tasks to ensure your business continues to take full advantage of your new website.
Hands Off
Instead of having to deal with the headache of repeated payments to several services, I will handle these payments on your behalf. I'll routinely monitor its performance and make adjustments if necessary. I'll also fix any unexpected issues in its normal operation.
Full Control
I'll give you detailed instructions and any relevant details or information required for you to control your new site, and give you the keys to the car - its continued management and maintenance will be in your hands.
